FAQ's
Do you have a fast marking system for the miter saw that you never use a laser or look at the blade to line up the mark to make the cut?
Yes and it is 100% accurate 100% of the time. You can see how it works by watching the live cut demo for the swinging guard on the miter saw on our web page.
Do you have a system that holds the board down and against the rip fence throughout the entire cut without getting either hand in the danger zone on a table saw?
Yes and it also prevents nearly all kick backs and flying push sticks. To see how it works watch the live cut demo videos for the right hand pusher for the table saw and the anti kick back wheel on our web page.
Is there something safer than using a push stick on a table saw, a table top router or shaper?
Yes, the right hand pusher for the table saw and the swinging arm pusher for the table top router and the shaper.
Are push sticks dangerous?
Yes, extremely dangerous from 45 years experience having a shop using this equipment I think push sticks are responsible for over 50% of shop accidents. There are two ways they are dangerous - one is if it slips - before you can stop the forward motion your hand is in the blade. The second way for the push stick to hit the blade and go air borne. I had seen holes on the walls where they have gone air borne. It can penetrate your stomach or break your hand or hit you in the face. Even if you are standing off to the side there is no guarantee what direction they will fly. How do I correct the situation? THROW THEM AWAY. Go to our web page to see very safe and very easy to use alternatives that are available for the table saw, miter saw, table top router and shaper.
Is a 30 day trial really a big deal?
Yes - it sure is for the buyer. Your will never be stuck with something you don’t like. Whether it be a device of miter saw, table top router or the shaper you can return one piece or all of them hassle free. Is making that kind of a guarantee a big liability for us. Not really - after people have given these products a good fair trial and have used them for awhile they just simply don’t send them back.
Will your products do what they are advertised to do?
Yes, after extensive on the job testing we make sure every product will do or exceed what we say it will do or it won’t go on the market. If we have it for sale it will work.
I really like the look for your products but will I be getting a good value for my money?
Yes, very much so. These were our goals when we developed the Savem System.
- The products had to work - had to do what we said they would do.
- They had to be very high quality, very precise and ruggedly built so they would do a top notch job and last a very long time.
- They had to be designed so they could be efficiently manufactured while maintaining the highest quality possible. To ensure the quality we use only air craft grade aluminum and all the parts are made on a C & C machine.
Another way we are keeping the cost down and adding more value to our products is that we are selling only on the internet. You are buying direct from the factory in Colorado so you can be assured you are getting great value whether it be for the table saw, miter saw, table top router or shaper.
Should I be using the Savem System in our high school shop classes? Or should I be teaching the present way not using the new system?
One goal that I had was to be able to get woodworking back in our high schools. And take it to a higher level. By that I mean when you have competed your shop training (and I am hoping they will devote more time to shop teaching). Your students will be able to run all the equipment you have, be able to make very precise cuts and make them safely. You can then make more of a variety of projects with the students actually making all of the cuts themselves. You can show them how to build a basic kitchen or bath cabinet. Plus if a student of yours got hurt it would be hard to live with knowing there is a safer way to do it but you didn’t use it. If a young person came to me with that kind of experience and knowledge being able to run the table saw, miter saw, table top router and shaper and as able to make very precise cuts he would have a job immediately.

On our videos we are running with the saw guard off to more clearly show how our products work. We are in no way suggesting you take your saw guard off.
